Closet Love

I'm excited to be back to show you all one of the main reasons why I bought this house. Even though we all share it, it is perfect for our needs. Having a little one to get ready in the morning and having a walk-through closet to both of our rooms was the ideal solution at this time! I debated constantly about if I wanted to go ahead and put up a wall, but I decided it was best to leave it as it is for now.

Here are the before pictures again for you:

Bedroom Adventure: Mr. Caiden Ahmir

Let's just say I haven't gotten as far as I thought I would with this room by now. I thought that if I focused on one room, I would get more done. Needless to say, I definitely chose the wrong room to focus on. I didn't know where to start or what he truly needed in his room. I'm a first time mother and I have this belief that he does not need much.

Since most of his clothes are in the closet, there was really no need for any dressers. He will have one, but until I finally paint it and put it in there, it will be staying in my room as a night stand.

Let's go back to the before picture:

Welcome Home

A lot has been going on the past few months! For a while we were contemplating on whether to rent, or to buy. Last month, we finally became homeowners!

Buying a home still hasn't hit me yet. I just got started on some projects so maybe when everything is how I want it, I will finally be able to lay back on the couch and say "Wow, we are homeowners." Until then, I'll be walking around like nothing happened.

I know you are wanting to see what it looks like, what are the plans for each room and all that good stuff, strap yourself in and let's go for a ride! The plans, I won't go into great detail until we actually have a solid vision for each of the rooms.
